Charming countryside setting, Extensive carvery selection, Spacious guest rooms
Cleanliness could use attention, especially in bathrooms!!! Room furnishings might benefit from updates, along with better TV options!!! Temperature control in common areas should definitely be improved!!!

Consider asking for an anti-slip mat for the bathtub to enhance safety while showering.

The double room offered a large, comfortable bed and ample space for personal items, along with great amenities like a hairdryer and kettle. The box of biscuits was a lovely touch. The staff were always friendly and eager to help, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. the steak and kidney pie could have benefited from a side of gravy to elevate the dish further. Breakfast was quite satisfactory, making for a generally enjoyable stay.

Just spent 2 cozy nights here and loved it! Enjoyed relaxing in the garden on the loungers and taking in the peaceful vibe. The only hiccup was the shower setup that could use some tweaks, but overall, it was a fab stay! 🌟

Fine old building in a lovely spot! My double room was spacious and had cozy decor that made me feel right at home.
But the shower was a slippery affair-maybe it needs a safety intervention before it becomes a slip 'n slide!

A welcoming country inn with a fantastic atmosphere and top-notch service. The full English breakfast is hearty, and the carvery offers a wide selection of high-quality meats and vegetables, making it a dining highlight. The staff members are friendly and efficient, ensuring a pleasant experience throughout the stay. the room had a slight musty odor upon entry, and parking can be limited during busy periods, which was a minor inconvenience.

The spacious room had lovely fluffy towels and was beautifully decorated, making me feel as if I were in a country cottage rather than a pub. The warm ambience was simply delightful for our relaxing retreat.
Shower height adjustment for seniors would help.

I had a lovely stay with a spacious room and enjoyed a delicious breakfast made to order. The beautiful garden area was perfect for relaxing with a book and the cozy lounge was a great spot to unwind. A minor note is that some furniture could use a bit of an update, but it didn’t take away from the overall charm. 😊
